What is the OneClay Digital Classroom Initiative? The OneClay Digital Classroom Initiative is a three part initiative that gives our staff, students, and parents the resources and tools necessary to teach and learn in a digital environment.
Part Two: Once inside the OneClay Portal, the familiar Focus icon will launch you into our Student Information System that includes attendance, assessment, communication, discipline, digital lesson delivery, gradebook, and progress monitoring information. For more information: http://digitalclassroominitiative.weebly.com/focus.html
Why were the parents notified of the Google Apps for Education accounts? Due to Federal laws, we legally had to notify parents that their child(ren) will have GAFE accounts. Parents have the right to Opt Out of GAFE for their child(ren). More information about those laws, our compliance, and the Opt Out Form can be found on our GAFE FAQ page at: http://www.oneclay.net/google-apps-for-education.html
When should I implement the OneClay Digital Classroom Initiative? You can begin to use the tools and resources associated with the DCI at anytime. The use of these tools is not mandatory, but we encourage you to explore them as we will be transitioning from Outlook (email, calendar, OneDrive) to Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
